YES MAMA Portrait Exhibition
The Yes Mama Portrait Exhibition is an immersive art experience featuring intimate portraits and interviews of 20 mothers based in New Orleans,LA. Created in collaboration with fine art photographer Jeremy Tauriac, the exhibition centers storytelling, connection, and care.
Step into The Holding, an interactive art installation by Monique Lorden honoring the womb, accompanied by intimate soundscapes composed by Lauren Fuller.This vessel—woven from a mother’s strength and song—is a pilgrimage to our beginning. Within its sanctuary of light, sound, and softness, visitors are invited to mend, to remember, and to be held. The Holding is a lullaby for the spirit—an invitation to return home, honor lineage, and rediscover the sacred space of comfort and power within.
All artworks will be part of a silent auction benefiting the Yes Mama Fund, which provides direct support for maternal health care in New Orleans.
