Held from August through September 2025, the Yes Mama! Portrait Exhibition brought together intimate portraits and interviews with 20 New Orleans mothers, celebrating their stories through photography, installation, sound, and film. Produced and curated by Yes Mama! founder Jordan Koppens, the exhibition featured portraits created with photographer Jeremy Tauriac; The Holding, an interactive installation by Monique Lorden with soundscapes by Lauren Fuller; Womb Altar by Elenie Cruz; and previews of two documentaries on Black maternal health from NOVAC’s 2025 Community Filmmaker Cohort. Supported by the Antenna Platforms Fund and community partner Merchant House, the exhibition created space for storytelling, connection, and care.
