YES MAMA Portrait Exhibition

The Yes Mama! Portrait Exhibition is an immersive art experience featuring intimate portraits and interviews of 20 mothers based in New Orleans,LA. Created in collaboration with fine art photographer Jeremy Tauriac, the exhibition centers storytelling, connection, and care.
Step into The Holding, an interactive art installation by Monique Lorden honoring the womb, accompanied by intimate soundscapes composed by Lauren Fuller.
From the heart of Louisiana, NOVAC’s 2025 Community Filmmaker Cohort is featuring a first look at two upcoming documentaries dedicated to advancing Black Maternal Health, told through the lived stories of birthers and the wisdom of birth workers.
